My Night

Going bowling tonight to attend the first DC United event of the year. Well, it’s not really a DC United event. It’s our supporter’s group event. Regardless, drunk with other soccer fans!

I left work this morning at 2:30am. Home at 3ish. Came home tired, dirty, weary knowing that even though I busted ass for 12+ hours yesterday the powers that be are still going find something to chew my ass about. 

After I washed up in the kitchen sink (the bathroom is too close to the bedrooms and would have woken up everyone) I came to bed to find Anthony was in our bed. I laid down quietly next to him and he just turned towards me and reached out and rubbed my chest. Like he was cuddling. 

And all was right in the world. 

I like to call it the “positivity compartment”

I changed out my license plates and decided to clean up my glove compartment. Here’s just some gems I found.

• Old checkbooks
• tons of deposit slips, good thing my car looks like shit otherwise it would have been pretty easy to get my account numbers.
• 7 box cutters
• melted, solidified, melted, solidified, melted, and currently solidified caramel candy with nail clippers permanently bonded to it until summer when it will become melted again.
• my car title 
• 94 different phone chargers, ipod chargers, usb chargers
• no gloves
